Star One C1 - Brazilian geostationary telecommunication satellite launched into orbit November 14, 2007. Used by Star One. Located above the equator at 65 ° W. It serves communication and data transmission in South America. Estimated working time of 15 years. Replaced Brasilsat B2.

The satellite was built by Thales Alenia Space at a cost of approximately $ 150 million, on the Spacebus 3000 / B3 universal platform. It has 28 C-band transponders, 14 Ku band, 1 X band.
