Nachor (Terach's son)

Nachor (Hebrew נָחוֹר) - Biblical figure, patriarch of Abraham.

He was Terah's second son, brother to Abraham and Haran. He was born like his brothers in the Chaldean Ur. He married Milka, the daughter of his brother Haran. When his father, brother Abraham and nephew (and also brother-in-law) departed from Ur and went to Haran, Nachor decided to stay in Mesopotamia. He lived in Aram-Naharaim.

From the marriage with Milka, he had eight sons - Usa, Kemuela, Kesed, Chazo, Pildasza, Jidlaf and Betuel. With his second wife, Reuma, he had sons of Tebach, Gacham and Tachas and daughter of Maaka.
