Raimondo D'Inzeo


Raimondo D'Inzeo (born February 2, 1925 in Poggio Mirteto, Italy, November 15, 2013) is an Italian sports and military rider with multiple Olympic medalists. Brother Piero D'Inzeo.

He competed in jumping over obstacles. Eight times, continuously from 1948 to 1976, he participated in the Olympic Games. His brother always accompanied him. The first Olympic medal was won in 1956, the last sixteen years later, with a total of six. Twice, in 1956 and 1960 he was an individual world champion. He achieved the greatest Olympic success in Rome, earning the Olympic gold medal.
