A.J. Lamas, actually Alvaro Joshua Lamas (born December 19, 1983 in Los Angeles, California) is an American television and film actor. Curriculum vitae

He is the son of American actor B, Lorenzo Lamas and Michele Cathy Smith. He has a younger sister, Shayne (born 1985).

He began his career as a model before he first appeared on the small screen on the television series Fox Family, Family, Friends (American Family, 2002) as Cisco Gonzales. In 2003 he was awarded the title of Mister of the Golden Globe. Then he joined the cast of CBS soap opera As the World Turns (2004-2005) as Rafael Ortega. At the cinema screen, he debuted as Diego, a student trying to free the dorm from the embarrassing little girl in the horror film Seans (Séance, 2006) opposite Adriana Paula.

In 2009, including his father, he participated in reality show Shayne Lamas and the company Leave It to Lamas, broadcast by E! Entertainment. The program was not highly rated among viewers and was removed from the antenna after eight episodes.
