Waldemar Achramowicz


Waldemar Kazimierz Achramowicz (born October 3, 1949 in Torun) is a Polish politician, self-governmental politician, in the years 1999-2006 of the Marshal of Kujawsko-Pomorskie Province. Curriculum vitae

Educated economist, graduate of Nicolaus Copernicus University. He belonged to the Polish United Workers' Party, then to the Alliance of the Democratic Left. He worked in railway companies in Inowrocław. From 1994 to 1998 he served as a councilor of Toruń. In the years 1999-2006 he was the Marshal of Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship for two terms. From 1998 to 2010 he continued to sit in the regional council. In 2010 he was not re-elected. Four years later, he also failed to obtain a mandate. In the parliamentary elections in 2007, he successfully failed to run for the LiD list. He was a general manager in a private company.
