Honey Kettle (volleyball)


TS Hejnał Kęty - male volleyball team, who is a retired volleyball section of the Hejnał Sport Club from Kęty, which was liquidated in 2009. History

It was founded on January 15, 1975. In the season 1975/1976 the senior team started the competition in C class B, where after winning 11 games, without losing points, advanced to Class A. Very fast promotion to Group A caused even faster decline, which was due to the inexperience of players and lack of fire with stronger rivals. In the 1986/1987 season, the senior team finished third and the junior team was fourth. The junior junior tournament ended successfully, the team won 2nd place, advancing to the finals of the Silesian Macroregion, which took place in Czestochowa. In the 1991/1992 season, the senior team took the first place, thus securing promotion to the Third Division. Confirmed class of players in this section was the appointment of National Junior Junior Piotr Gruszka - a pupil of Andrzej Pietrzyk. He went to club I League BBTS Bielsko-Biała. In the season 2006/2007 the team was promoted to League II.
