Marc-Antoine, Markiz of Dampierre Marc-Antoine, Marquis de Dampierre (born December 24, 1676 in Pisseleu, died 1756) is a French aristocrat, military and composer of the late Baroque.

In his music he can hear the trumpets and hunting horns, which were his inspiration, the marquis was a great amateur hunter. He also participated in the concerts of the Concert Spirituel. On February 22, 1705 he married Justine-Marguerite Colomes, the daughter of artisan duke du duin. In the later stages of his life he was the royal governor of the Languedoc.
