Peter Paul Merker (born 1890, date unknown) - Nazi criminal, member of the German concentration camp Buchenwald and SS-Oberscharführer.

A member of Buchenwald's crew from September 1939 to February 27, 1945. Served as sergeant of the guard company, Blockführer and sub-camp commandant, which housed Gustloff (October 1943 to February 1945). Merker bullied the prisoners in various ways.

After the end of the war, he sat on the bench of the accused in the Buchenwald crew (US vs. Josias Prince Zu Waldeck and others) before the American Military Tribunal in Dachau and was sentenced to death. The verdict, however, turned the jury on 20 years of imprisonment. In the mid-1950s he was released from prison in Landsberg Bibliography
