Amyloid
Amyloid - harmful, abnormal protein, formed in the body as a result of a long course of destructive diseases, accumulation between the capillaries and tissues of some organs. This causes the oppression and obstruction (or disability) of the exchange of substances between blood and cells. This is called amyloidosis.
The diseases that cause amyloid formation include: tuberculosis, syphilis, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic osteitis. Bibliography
