Antin Warywoda


Antin Warywoda Antin Warywoda (born January 10, 1869 in Seremban, March 12, 1936 in Vienna) is a Colonel of the Austro-Hungarian Army (including the Ukrainian Sikhs and Ukrainian Halic army).

From March 16 to September 30, 1916, he was the commander of the Legion of Ukrainian Sgt. After the proclamation of the Western Ukraine People's Republic he joined the Ukrainian Halic army. In 1918-19 he was a member of the liquidation committee in Vienna, dealing with the return of former Ukrainian soldiers of the Austro-Hungarian Army from the Italian captivity and from the territory of Austria to East Galicia. At the end of 1919 ZURL government appointed to care for interned UHA soldiers in Czechoslovakia. From August 1920 he was the commandant of the internment camp in Liberec. After the liquidation of the internment camps in 1923, he settled in Vienna, where he died. Bibliography, links
