Crocodile Lake

Lake of the Crocodiles (بحيرة التمساح, Buhajrat at-Timsah) - a salt lake located between the northern and southern parts of the Suez Canal in Egypt. The town of Ismailia is located above it. On the west side of the lake is the Ismaili Channel. The eastern part of the lake runs through the Suez Canal.

There are several sandy islands on the lake. There are also sandy beaches on the lake, where there are water sports centers and resorts.

The surface of the lake is about 14 km².
