Cup

Mug with the Wikipedia logo - pot, usually ceramic, serving drinks. Mugs are also made of enamelled steel, clay, faience, plastic, aluminum, wood, thick glass and stainless steel. The latter is made in the form of double-walled vessels, which, unlike the glass, have the opportunity to preserve the heat of the drink longer. Most often, the cup has a handle called an ear and is usually decorated, often rich (which is often used as a gadget, a gift or a collector's item).

The average dimensions of a modern porcelain cup: Diameter: 80 mm height: 95 mm wall thickness approx. 3 mm ear thickness approx. 15 mm

In Polish, the mug of a cup was equivalent to the notion of identity. The source of the story is from the past custom of giving brides on the occasion of marrying the so-called. The two cups (often very expensive) cups - the "cup in the cup" the same. Actually, they may have been slightly different.
