Jan Zylber


Jan Zylber (born April 14, 1936 in Kalisz, died April 23, 1997 in Warsaw) - Polish entrepreneur, jazz musician, cultural animator, music manager, 1991-1993 Member of Parliament for the first term; Philip's father. Curriculum vitae The son of a Kalisz lawyer, he came from a neo-Cyprian family, who in the nineteenth century converted from Christian faith to Christianity. In 1952 he graduated from the First Secondary School. Adam Asnyka in Kalisz, and in 1956 studied at the Faculty of Mechanics of Poznan University of Technology. At the turn of the 50s and 60s he was a percussionist at the Komeda and Jazz Believers (Krzysztof Komeda and Jan Ptaszyn Wróblewski), with whom he performed, among others. at jazz festivals in Sopot. During this period, he had been starring in Andrzej Wajda's Innocent Sorcerers. He organized Jazz Camps in Kalataki.

After completing his musical career he worked at the Polish Artistic Agency Pagart. He was the manager of Ewa Demarczyk, the duo Marek and Wacek, the cabaret Strong Group under the Call. In the 1980s he founded one of the first so- Polish companies.

In 1991, he was elected to the Sejm of the Polish Party of Beer Friends. During the term of office he joined the Polish Liberal Club. Bibliography
