Sarych

Sarycz (Сарич) - a cape located in the south-western part of the Crimean Peninsula.

The cape is made of limestone, its slopes cover the forests of juniper, oak, hornbeam.

At the end of the cape there is a lighthouse, which was a dispute between Russia and Ukraine since the Russian troops took over in August 2005. Excluding the verdict of the Economic Court in Simferopol, the Russian troops illegally seized 77 hydrographic and technical facilities in the Crimea, including the Sarycz lighthouse.
