Theater Curtain im. Juliusz Slowacki's Cracow - oil painting by Henryk Siemiradzki, measuring 11.9 × 9.6 m, painted on linen canvas stretched on a wooden canvas. Unlike most other curtains, it is not rolled up but raised over the stage.

The scene depicted on the screen is allegorical. In the middle there is Inspiration, associating Beauty with Truth, below Comedy with Clown. On the left hand side is a dark-robed Tragedy, which looks at Eros crying over the casket with the Beloved Heart. Crimes, Accusations, Fury and Specters. The composition is complemented by Psyche, which is liberating from sensuality, Music and Singing and the retinue around the Terpsychory monument.

Siemiradzki work on the curtain was done at own expense, without asking for a fee. The city paid for it 15 thousand. golden reindeer. For the first time, the curtain was raised on 18 April 1894 in the Municipal Theater (Juliusz Slowacki Theater in Krakow today) during the exhibition of the art by Józef Bliziński Weed. In honor of the work of Siemiradzkiego played the orchestra of the 13th Infantry Regiment and sang the choir of the Musical Society.
