Democratic Party (PD) - Kenyan conservative party. In the parliamentary elections held in 2002, the party was part of the National Rainbow Coalition, which won 56.1% of the vote, which allowed the coalition to issue 125 parliamentary representatives and obtain a parliamentary majority. In the 2002 presidential election, the party supported the candidacy of PD Mwai Kibake, who was elected president of Kenya.

In the 2007 parliamentary elections, PD was part of the newly formed National Unity Party.
