Han Dingxiang
Han Dingxiang (born May 17, 1937, September 9, 2007) is a Chinese bishop of the Catholic underground church.
He was ordained a priest in 1986, and three years later he was appointed bishop of the so-called underground church, an association of Catholics faithful to the pope and the apostolic capital. He was known for his open declaration of his fidelity and loyalty to the Pope and the Vatican. He spent more than half his life in prisons and the last eight years of his life until his death in police custody.
He died in a hospital where he suffered from ailments he suffered, just before his death he was admitted to the family shortly. The bishop's body was cremated in 6 hours after death, without consenting to the Catholic burial. Bibliography
