Chwalisława, Falisława - Old Polish female name, composed of Chwali- ("praise, glory, thank you") and -issue ("glory"). Probably meant "the one who praises fame." In Polish sources since the 13th century. Falisława's form was created as a result of the simplification of the group in f, which took place in Silesia, in Małopolska and in Mazovia in the Polish prehistory.
