Shofar - musical project created on the initiative of Raphael Rogiński. The group's music is based on traditional Hasidic and free jazz music, reinterpreting pre-war Jewish religious songs (niguns, frejlaks). Their debut album was released in 2007 by Kilogram Records. In September 2007, Shofar next to the Wall, Mitch & Mitch, Pink Freud and other bands took part in a two-day Mizrach festival organized by the Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw; The track "Tis-Nign" recorded during this event was included on the Mizrach record attached to the December issue of Przekrój.
