Teodor Cave
Teodor Grott (born 1884 in Częstochowa, died in 1972 in Cracow) - painter.
He studied in 1904-1908 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, a student of Leon Wyczółkowski and Florian Cynka. In 1908 he went on a scholarship to Italy, stayed in Rome and Florence, in 1910 visited London and Paris. In 1912 he returned to Italy, this time in Sicily.
Since 1910 he has exhibited his paintings at the exhibitions organized by the Society of Fine Arts in Cracow, where he worked as the office manager, treasurer, from 1949 to 1961 as the director and organizer of exhibitions and honorary member of the Society. Artist of the landscapes, painter of old architecture, generic paintings, portraits and acts.
In 1913 he and his wife set up a kilim factory to produce their own designs. The whole of the twentieth century had its roots.
In 1937 he was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta. Authoritative control (person):
