Tylon
Tylon (Tilo) (born May 22, 1295) is a close associate, notary, then protonographer of the last Wielkopolska Piasta Przemysla II, a Santotok preacher. <> Tylon was from the bourgeois family. His other brothers were Przemysl writers: Jasło, Mikolaj (later Poznan canon), Jakub (canon and notary bishop of Poznan). They were also the fifth brother of Stefan, who was also a Poznan canon.
At the office of Prince Notre Dame Tylon, he was chiefly from 1273 to 1286, and in 1286 he became a chaplain of the duke and protonotarian. Shortly afterwards, Tylon left the Chancellery of Przemysl II and was (presumably thanks to the support of the Prince) the premonition of Santos. Leaving the new office did not stop Tylon from continuing to stay close to the manor, as he also frequently appeared in the documents of Przemysl, as a witness of legal actions, when he left the office.
Throughout the period of Przemysl II's reign, over 200 diplomas went out of his office, of which at least one third was made by Tylon. In the known documents of the ruler, he appears 80 times.
In 1285, at the command of Przemysl II, Tylon set out for Sweden with the official mission of bringing back the ruling wife Rory to Sweden. Unfortunately, we do not know whether the message reached the court of the Swedish kings from Gdańsk, Szczecin, or perhaps through the Danish straits. In any case, the message of 17 August 1285 had to be on the way, since the document issued on that day was made by the canon of Poznan Jakub. On October 11th, a Swedish wedding was held in Nyköping, during which Tylon replaced the prince.
For Bringing a Spouse and Travel Troubles Industry gave Tylon September 9, 1286, a groom, freed from all burdens and obligations, while allowing the locality to be placed under German law.
After May 22, 1295, Tylon disappears from the source, perhaps shortly after this date.
