Ameloblast

Ameloblast, enameloblast, adamantoblast - epithelial glaucoma. Participates in the process of odontogenesis, ie the process of tooth formation in vertebrates. Ameloblasts build an inner, single layer of the gingival organ, directed towards the dental papillae. Each cell has about 4 μm diameter and 40 μm; The cross section has a hexagonal shape. The secretory pole of the cell forms a hexagonal shape pyramid known as Tomes fiber. Ameloblasts are produced and deposited on the surface of the dental wart.
