Ammilon

Ammilon (died 821?), Archbishop of Salzburg for half a year 821.

He was to be the successor of the first Archbishop of Salzburg, Arn, who died in January 821. Since December 821, another archbishop, Adalram, is known, Ammilon's tenure was at most ten months.

Archbishop Ammilon mentions Jan Leśny in an article devoted to Arnold in the Dictionary of Slavic Antiquity (Volume VII, Part II - Supplement, 1984). The author points out that Ammilon's existence only confirms "some sources."
