Bercy Bridge

Bercy Bridge Pont de Bercy is a bridge located on the River Seine in Paris.
The bridge connects the Boulevard de Bercy located in the 12th district of Paris and the boulevard of Vincent-Auriol located in the 13th district. There is also a 6 meter line in Paris. History Pont de Bercy was built on the site of a suspension bridge built in 1832. The charges for overcrowded ships have led to the construction of a new structure to allow for greater transport and travel across the bridge. The construction of the new bridge was completed in 1864.

In 1904, the bridge was extended by 5.5 meters to support the use of the bridge by the Paris Metro line.

In 1986, another decision was made to enlarge the bridge for the purpose of unloading traffic jams. After considering all the proposals, the project of constructing the viaduct over which the metro line could move was underway, while traffic would continue under it. Work on the construction of the viaduct began in 1989 and ended in 1992. At that time, the bridge was enlarged and widened by 16 m. At present the bridge width is 35 m. Metro

The nearest metro station is the Quai de la Gare.
