Georg Eberlein
Georg Eberlein (born 13 April 1819 in Markt Erlbach, died July 8, 1884 in Nuremberg) is a German architect and painter.
Professor at the School of Arts in Nuremberg. He was a pupil and co-worker of Carl Alexander Heideloff, with whom he worked at the decoration of the castle Landsberg near Meiningen. He has renovated many architectural monuments. His most famous sculpture is "Wounded Virgin", which is now at the Pomeranian Philharmonic in Bydgoszcz (formerly in the Mieczkowski Palace in Niedźwiedzie). Bibliography
