Newly-industrialized countries are a group of developing countries characterized by the dynamic development of high technology industries, huge resources of cheap labor, favorable tax policies for foreign investors and a very high GDP growth rate. This group of countries includes, among others. Mexico, Brazil, South Africa, Turkey, India, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines. Some of the sociologists in this group also include "Asian tigers", others classify them in a separate group of newly industrialized countries. Mid-level countries are characterized by less productive capacity, higher profitability of material production in the structure of GDP, relatively high employment in sectors I and II, average living standard.
