Paul Wolfram


Paul Wolfram (born 1900, died?) - a Nazi criminal, quarry manager at Gusen I concentration camp and SS-Untersturmführer.

As a merchant. From December 4, 1940, he was a civilian manager of the quarry at Gusen I. In 1944 he joined the Waffen-SS and as an SS man headed the above-mentioned quarry until May 2, 1945. Wolfram was responsible for the food and clothing of the prisoners and assigned them to specific quarries in the quarries. . He also took care of the discipline there. Wolfram was the true terror of the prisoners. He ruthlessly exploited their labor force, encouraging SS men and capers to torture prisoners who worked too slowly. These weak and sick sent to the main camp of Mauthausen for extermination. Wolfram also reported on the basis of which the camp authorities cruelly punished the prisoners. In spite of this, working conditions in the quarry were the cause of high mortality.
