He graduated in 1999 from the Higher School of Pedagogy in Czestochowa and in 2005 postgraduate studies in environmental protection at the Technical University of Lodz. He worked as a history teacher in Aleksandrów Łódzki, then as a specialist in the Łódź Sickness Fund and the Provincial Fund for Environmental Protection.

In 2002, he held the seat of the Polish Peasants' Party in Lodz, holding a mandate in 2006, 2010 and 2014. In 2007 he was appointed deputy speaker of the voivodeship.
