Dorothea von Lieven Dorothea Fürstin von Lieven from von Benckendorff's house (born December 30, 1784, January 27, 1857 in Paris) is the wife of Russian General von Lieven. Activity

She was seen at the tsarist court. Often she has also been in salon in Berlin, London and Paris, and she has gained fame in the world of diplomacy. In February 1854, after the outbreak of war between Russia and the West, she moved to Brussels.

Since 1855 she has left Paris. Her lounge in the old Talleyrand has become a meeting place for the diplomatic world and the French elite.
