E) After six cycles of temozolid chemotherapy, the tumor was enlarged even further and the patient experienced diarrhea and hemiplegia. Anaplastic astrocytoma (anaplastic astrocytoma) - a tumor brain tumor. It is a high grade malignancy (WHO grade III). Untreated tumors of this type in most cases progress to glioblastomas. Epidemiology

Anaplastic astrocytomas are somewhat more common in men, usually diagnosed in the 5th decade of life. Treatment
