Central Belarusian Military Council (white Цэнтральная Беларуская Вайсковая Рада) - Belarusian independent military institution at the turn of 1917/1918.
From 31 October to 6 November 1917, a delegation of military representatives of the Belarusian Front of the West, the 12th Army, the Baltic Fleet and the Romanian Front took place in Minsk, which decided to politically subdue the Great Belarusian Council and to form Belarusian military units on its behalf. . For this purpose, the Central Belarusian Military Council was established. It was headed by Symon Rak-Michajłouski, and the deputy was Kastuś Jezawitau, second deputy - Tamasz Hryb, treasurer - Vasil Zacharka, and members - Wiaczasłau Adamowicz, Mikoła Szyla and Jeraszewić. Shortly thereafter, Gen. Kiprian Kandratowicz was approached. The Council was the position of independence of Belarus. Jezawitau. At the end of November 1917, a delegation of the Council headed by S. Rak-Mikhailoski headed the Russian army chief Gen. Nikolai N. Duchonin at the head of the organization of the Belarusian armed forces. General N. Duchonin did not promise anything, but after a few days he sent a telegram allowing it. In response, the Council began to form a Belarusian regiment in Minsk, and it also had plans to create a Belarusian corps on the Western Front. However, Gen. N. Duchonin was killed and Gen. K. Kandratowicz awaited instructions from the new command of the Russian army. This led to conflict with the remaining members of the Council, who eventually removed General K. Kandratowicz from his post, and his successor appointed K. Jezawitau. After the occupation of the Belarusian lands by the Bolshevik forces on the night of 26 January 27, 1918, the Council's staff was broken, which meant the end of her work.
