Ataxia, an inability to move (from ατάξις, ataxiā, lat. ataxia) - a set of symptoms defining the movement coordination of the body. It is one of the manifestations of many diseases of the central nervous system. Its essence consists in the abnormal interaction of the muscles of the agonists and antagonists in their synchronization and regulation of muscle tone.
