Hermann Dostal

Hermann Dostal (born April 6, 1874, died December 20, 1930 in Vienna) is an Austrian composer and arranger.

As a son of military music, he was also a chaplain in the Austrian-Hungarian infantry regiments in Hungary, Slovakia and southern Moravia. He served in various Austro-Hungarian military bands, including Franz Lehár, who in 1904 took over the orchestra of the 26th Infantry Regiment.
