At first, he was interested in the history of the native Nysa, after moving to Police in 1980 became a specialist in the history of the Police Land. The result of his 20 years of studies on the history of Police is the monograph History of the Police from the time of the oldest settlement to World War II (Szczecin 1999), with a foreword reviewing it prof.
