Mathematical Reviews

Mathematical Reviews - an electronic database and a periodical published by the American Mathematical Society (AMS). Contains summaries (and in exceptional cases also reviews) of many publications in mathematics, statistics and theoretical computer science. The publication began in 1940 with the aim of providing summaries of all mathematical publications.

In 2006, the database contained information on more than 1.7 million scientific articles, 1800 scientific journals. Summaries have been developed by over 12,000 active reviewers (authors of abstracts are active mathematicians in research, sometimes suggested by editors, other reviewers or volunteers).
