Zelka Mountain, also known as Zela Mountain, is 228 m above sea level, the last limestone on the Wieluń Upland, rising 53 meters above the Warta River. View from Zelca mountain towards Warta A view of the summit of Zelce Mountain in 1990 There are numerous karst forms - caves (including: Surprise Cave, Zanococca, Stalagmitowa, Za Kratą, Twiwylotowa, Draba, Mały, Professor Samsonowicza), cracks and crevices. The hill is covered with xerothermic grasslands and rocky slopes. There are many limestone plants in shady and damp crevices.
After the Second World War, Zelka was owned by private owners, leading to intensive exploitation of limestone and calcite, resulting in the wealth of stalactite caves being destroyed. At present, this area is protected - in 1971 a nature reserve Węze was established, later incorporated into the Załęczański Landscape Park.
By 2002, there was a wooden lookout tower.
