Class L route

Class L road - local road - one of the public road classes according to the division introduced by the Regulation of the Minister of Transport and Maritime Economy on technical conditions which should correspond to public roads and their location (Journal of Laws 1999, No 43, item . 430). The regulation specifies what technical and service requirements should be met by the class. These requirements depend on the design speed of the road. For the L class, two design speeds are allowed in built-up areas: 30 and 40 km / h and two design speeds outside the built-up areas: 40 and 50 km / h. Class L roads may belong to the category of district roads (exceptionally) or to municipal roads. Bibliography
