Delator

Delator (lat. delatio = bringing, bringing, delivering) - in ancient Rome it was an informer and then a public prosecutor. In the early Roman Republic, the delator performed his selfless work, treating it as his civic obligation, but with time, especially during the imperial period, when the so-called " "law of image majesty", the delator became a paid denunciation-denunciator. For Tiberius (false accusations), false accusations have been the source of the delinquents 'and their giants' great fortunes, as the delinquents received the reward usually in the form of a portion of the accused's property.
