Lepcha people


Mother with baby Lepczów, Lepcza (in Polish: Rong-pa) is an ethnic group in Asia, its original headquarters are in the Indian state of Sikkim, the Lepczów region is also inhabited by western Bhutan and eastern Nepal, as well as Darjeeling in India. In the 1990s, their numbers were about 70,000. people. The Tibetans believe in Tibetan Buddhism and their faith in spirits, and they also worship the gods in the mountains. Their traditional occupation is the terrace cultivation of rice, maize, buckwheat, cane and livestock.
