Plans - a philosophical and literary essay by Antoni Lange from 1905. The work, in addition to the general allegations about the essence of the poem (numerous to Stéphane Mallarmé), contains an attempt at the philosophical manifesto of the creator himself. Lange writes: "The most powerful poet would be able to pass through life invisible and unfamiliar to anyone, for his voice in life would sound like a voice from behind the grave, and the power of the dead is more powerful than the living ones because they are eternal invisibility and unreality." An important element of the work is the settlement with the legacy of Polish Romanticism, its own generation (modernism, decadents) the history of Polish literature against the background of European and world literature.
