Camonia or Zamonia (Zamonien) - a fictional land created by the German writer and cartoonist Walter Moers for several novels.

Camonia is a continent inhabited by fantastic creatures such as wolverts, worms, buti and big dinosaur-related lizards. The capital of the whole continent is Atlantis, which is managed by natiftofy. In the heart of this continent lies the sweet desert of sugar. Under Camionia, stories underline the Underworld, full of evil and dangers. Some other places in Camonia are: Dark Mountains (mountains of iron), Great Forest, Unsurpassed or Unbiskant (depending on the translation) - land of thinking moving sands. The first novel set in this world was the 13th and the ½ life of Captain Blue Teddy. At present the cycle has seven volumes, of which six have been published in Poland:

Stanisław Kryński (born 20 June 1912 in Warsaw, died 30 January 1967) is a Polish-American philologist, literary critic and translator of English literature.
