Jan Kopczyk
In 1980 he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University of Poznan. He obtained his second degree in orthopedics and traumatology. In the 80s he worked as a doctor in a provincial hospital in Konin, then to 1998 he was a director of the department and a provincial doctor. In 2004 he was awarded the Institute of Rural Medicine. Witold Chodzki PhD degree in medical sciences based on the dissertation. The incidence of rural children in the opinion of children, representatives of local governments and politicians - in terms of diagnosing threats and developing preventive guidelines written under the direction of Alfred Owoc.
From 1993 to 1997 he held the mandate of the second term of office elected from the Konin district from the list of the Polish Peasant Party. He chaired the Health Commission at the time. In 1997 he was not re-elected. He was a member of PSL national authorities.
In the years 1998-2002 he sat in the Wielkopolska Sejm, for two years he was a member of the board of the voivodship. In the government of Leszek Miller took the position of deputy minister of health. In 2002 he was appointed President of the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund, which he held until 2006. In 2008 he became the chief physician of KRUS.
