Kite style
This period (380-320 BC) was the last inaugural Ceramic art of Attica. This style was characterized mainly by the abandoned variety of shapes vases. There are usually forms that can be quickly and easily performed. At the same time, it must be admitted that, in contradiction to the simplicity of the shapes, their decoration was careful and characterized by a very thoughtful composition. The artists decorated the dishes with multiple configurations and quite freely operated many plans. The characters were first and foremost, highlighted in white. The first known artist was Helena Painter, who featured, in addition to good composition, the correct representation of the movement. Compared with age V p.n.e. The drawing is similar to the quality of the vase, much worse. The pooch loses his blackness, which the artist tried to hide over the color. Another representative of the geranian style is the painter Pompe, characterized by excess use of white color, the three figures are two are white. Another distinction is the Amazon Painter whose vase can be admired at the National Museum in Warsaw. On both sides of the vessel, the artist placed decorations. One side filled the Amazon and the other one was Grypomachia. The Amazon shows a painter on a white horse standing.
At the end of the fourth century, p.n.e. The activity of the Attician painting workshops was almost complete, and their product moved to colonial Greek centers in Italy. However, it was far from these vessels in terms of quality and artistic level to those of Greece proper.
