In 1956 he was elected president of the Polish Journalists Association (he resigned from the post after the magazine "Just"). In the years 1957-1967 deputy editor of the weekly magazine "Świat". From 1967 to 1977 he was secretary of the editorial board of "Polish Perspectives". Since 1978 retired.
