The Two Nations Award - a prize awarded by the Presidium of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania and the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, was created on July 2, 1997 as a forum of common regional, international and bilateral relations. The prize is given to people of science, literature and art "for their work which is a significant contribution to the cooperation between Poland and Lithuania".
