Lenticular film - or lenticular film - is a special substrate of transparent plastic in the form of a film on one side smooth, on the other with embossed lenses or linear prisms. These films are usually made of methyl polymethacrylate, polystyrene, polypropylene or polyester. It is used in a technique called lens printing. The thickness of the foil is related to the luminance of the lens. The higher the linearity, the thickness of the film may be smaller, but also the higher quality (accuracy) of the printing is required. Available on the market, the films have a thickness of 0.3-3.8 mm and a linearity of 10-161 lpi.
