Salwar Kamiz ललवार क़मीज़, also शलवार क़मीज, Punjabi ਸਲਵਾਰ ਕਮੀਜ਼ urdu شلوار قمیض English Punjabi Suit) - traditional costume worn in Asia (in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, India, especially northern, especially in Punjab), consisting of "salwar" bags, narrowed at the bottom of the trousers, and "kamiz" - a loose shirt (tunics). Salwar word is derived from Persian, kamiz comes from Arabic qamis.
