Sternizm
Sterinism - a set of literary trends prevalent in European literature at the end of the 18th century and the first half of the 19th century, taking its origins from Laurence Sterne's work. An essential feature of sterility is the conception of an omniscient, yet simultaneous, narrator in the first person who manifests his presence and reveals the uniqueness of the narrative situation. The emotional atmosphere of the Stern composition is similar to sentimentalism.
In Polish literature, Franciszek Karpinski, Cyprian Godebski, Maria Wirtembersk and Fryderyk Skarbek were created under the influence of stern.
