The land of kaliska
Terra Calisiensis (Terra Calisiensis) is a territorial unit of the medieval Polish state in the Upper and Middle Warta basins. In modern times, the eastern part of Wielkopolska is a proper synagogue of Kalisz.
In 1138 the land of Kalisz entered the part of the senior district, and then from 1173 belonged to the senior Mieszko III Old. As a result of rebellion against him in the years 1177-1181 Kazimierz II Righteous land was ruled by the land. In less than a year after the Łęczyca reunion, in the first half of 1181 Mieszko III Stary took over the land of the Kalisz.
