Armor Museum

Musée des Blindés, Musée Général Estienne - is one of the largest armored museums in the world, having the largest collection of armored vehicles. It is located in the Loire Valley in the town of Saumur, in the department of Maine and Loire in France. The current name of the museum refers to French General Jean-Baptiste Eugène Estienne.

The collection includes more than 880 vehicles, of which around 200 are still operational and are participating in the annual Carrousel parade. In spite of the museum's relocation in 1993, about 25% of exhibits from the museum's collection are in larger expositions.

Saumur was a traditional training center for French cavalry, and it was also the idea of a museum organization. Today, the Saumur cavalry museum is a separate museum facility. The collections are French Schneider CA1, St Chamond, AMC 35, AMR 33 and ARL 44, as well as numerous experimental designs.
